ANATOMATICAL CONSIDERATIONS IN LENS CHOICE
Lid anatomy and position may be
an important consideration. For
example, a patient with a very
wide palpabral aperture where the
upper lid is above the upper
limbus, a flat cornea and requiring
a plus lens may not be a good
candidate for rigid lenses. It is
often difficult to get the lens to
center on the cornea. A hydrogel
lens would be the lens of choice.
