  5. Lid anatomy and position may be 
  6. an important consideration.  For 
  7. example, a patient with a very 
  8. wide palpabral aperture where the 
  9. upper lid is above the upper 
  10. limbus, a flat cornea and requiring 
  11. a plus lens may not be a good 
  12. candidate for rigid lenses.  It is 
  13. often difficult to get the lens to 
  14. center on the cornea.  A hydrogel 
  15. lens would be the lens of choice.
